How often should you trim?

It depends on the shape, not one rule for everyone.

By Tae · Senior stylist

Short shapes lose their line quickly; long hair is trimmed to keep ends healthy — so timing differs.

Crops and fades: 3–5 weeks

The neckline and sideburns blur after the first month.

Bobs and shoulder length: 6–8 weeks

The shape holds, but the weight at the ends shifts.

Long hair: 10–12 weeks

Take 1–2 cm to keep the ends looking full.
